The Rain Rain Come Again

Welcome to AllPoetry!Lol it has been raining really bad here for a while doubt it is anything like what you have where you are but there have been flash floods.I love the rain Storms I don't like to much as they give us power outs and my one sons is scared when that happens.I like the sound it makes on the ground and it grew some wonderful grain in the fields at the back of me and refreshed the river which had become rather low after a very dry few months.I guess we all feel differently about it but you do a grand job of telling me how you feel and you made me laugh which I liked a lot while reading even through that rain my smile would show very clearly like the Cheshire Cat.I hope you enjoy the rain and that it comes soon so that you can enjoy that lovely smell it leaves afterwards I enjoyed this light hearted piece the flow is really good I liked how you described things and all those lovely things you talk of.Thank you for sharing with us on the site if at any time you need help here please ask me and I will do my utmost to help you SatsSite Greeter

In short, the different words for rain are not simply a product of the agricultural importance of rain; they refer to different ways in which G-d provides for the world. Some elements of Creation require a strong, torrential downpour in order to be quenched, while others require only a drizzle and would otherwise drown in a deluge of water. Moreover, vegetation tends to grow at different times of the year, so rain must drop at those different periods. G-d accommodates all of these different considerations, and the Hebrew language reflects those concerns.

Biden was in the midst of the political fight of his life, against Donald Trump seeking to make a comeback, against complaints that he was too old for the job, and seeking to fill the large shoes of his Democratic predecessor Barack Obama.

Their Republican rival and then US President Donald Trump, on the other hand, found himself in a sticky spot after he skipped a World War I memorial service about 50 miles from Paris because of the rainy weather, with White House officials stepping in on his behalf.

It doesn't matter who I talk to on the phone, whether it's about outdoors or sports, we always end up talking about the weather. Everyone had the same response, "We could really use some rain." Isn't that the truth.

Every summer from when I was 9 to 18, I went back to help my grandma and grandpa on their farm for the summer. That summer there was virtually no rainfall and shooting fireworks was out of the question. It was so dry that during that summer we had to leave the pickup on the side of the road to go and walk across the field to check cattle, because we could run the risk of starting a fire.

At every drop of rain, the birds chirped in mirth, the cuckoo went crazy, the sparrow left her nest to fly in the open. The parrot sang the songs of the spring, the eagle splashed her wings to mesh them with raindrops. The crow raised loud coo and caws and the swift drifted carefree. The pigeon brought the message of mate and the bulbul confided to the companions that his beloved was about to come.

The musk deer could not control her legs. She ran wayward crisscrossing through the shady trees. Today even the lion had overlooked her. The bear had woken from his deep slumber to the drizzling sound of the rain of course with no wrath. And, above all it was the peacock completely drenched in the rain, who had mesmerized the entire stock of wild birds in the jungle by its rain dance.

On the other side, when the drops of rain fell on the trees, plants bloated, leaves ballooned, Chinars grew out of size. When the rain touched the surface of the earth, soil came alive. Satiated, the earth let the water over its surface pour rhythmically into the rivers and streams. The gushing waters blew life into lifeless.

The harmful climate change in the Himalayan region that is guiding Kashmir's atmospheric conditions has become clearer to over past some time. We have failed to guard against the unusual weather patterns believed to be a part of Climate Change and Global Warming in the Himalayan region that may worsen in the coming years.

Meanwhile, there is some good news for this season. Skymet has forecast monsoon rains in India would be average in 2018. The prediction has raised prospects of higher farm and economic growth in the economy.

The clouds turn black & the rain drops come in bunchMaking you fully drench, A soothing odour from the soaked mud, Makes every flower come out of its bud.Water water everywhereThe vehicles speed with a flash, Kids dance in the muddled waters, They find fun doing a 'splash splash'The trees sway, the flowers smile, The nature comes all alive, The animals run hither tither for shelter, The humans too run helter skelter! Once the rain subsides, Everyone comes out of their hide, The sight of the rainbow in the clear blue skyIs worth admiring and lifts our spirits high! I smiled in agreement as I badly needed a hot cup of coffee after being slogged like a bullock in the rains. She stood up immediately and walked towards the kitchen as I began browsing the newspapers kept on the tray. I had enough time to take off my monsoon shoes and got rid of my jersey which weighed like an elephant on me before Amrita returned with two cups of coffee. We didn't speak much till we had the last sip after which I thought for a while if it was time for me to leave.

We were now glancing at each other, smiling occasionally before as she stood up, gathered the empty coffee cups and started walking towards the sink. My eyes were now pinned on her swaying butt cheeks. I thought for a while before following her to the kitchen as she deposited the cups in the sink and turned around slowly obviously knowing that I was right behind her. I couldn't recall when I had entered her kitchen during those few months I stayed there. I could see the heavy rains lashing outside through the kitchen window, nothing compared to my desires which were pouring through my eyes.

I did leave that day knowing very well that there will be another day when my brother might be on another tour; knowing that Amrita would let me in to the house again; knowing that she would let me do all that I have done on that wonderful rainy day. 2ff7e9595c
